I'm sure some people would excoriate me for that same remark :)

Still, it occurred to me at some point that not believing in the religious part didn't mean I had to give up all my childhood traditions.

Well okay. You can go there. :) There are those who are a bit more secular or agnostic.

And this was more my point.

For me, Christmas stopped being a religious holiday years before I stopped being a Christian. It was SO clearly NOT about Jesus, and I was very jaded.

Glad to just enjoy tinsel and lights now. :)
