Banking - With All The Inducements

Just a thought as I was watching the news this morning...

I must have seen 4 or 5 advertisements trying to get you (and me) to switch banks. I don’t know about you - but moving my banking business is a huge pain in the ass! So as a result I don’t pay much attention to adverts from banks...

I only change banks if I absolutely have to, usually. I mean if I’m moving...or something along those lines. And with the proliferation of internet banking, I don’t know if I’ll ever need to change again.

Main reason I’d switch from one to another is if the bank I’m using pisses me off royally, which has happened a few times.

So how about you? Does bank advertising induce you enough to switch? Or does it need to be a major event that forces it?

I Am So Easily Distracted

Trying to pay some bills and clean up my office today. Since our technology infusion @ casa de T’s, I’ve not spent much time in here.

After all when you have notebook computers, who needs an office? Well I do *grins* but I just haven’t spent much time at clearing out the ook...

But as I said, I am easily distracted and the call of the internets is strong for me. Always something more interesting to do rather than balance the ol’ checkbook!
