Wingz and Beer for Lunch Do Not Make

For a productive time out in the heat. But I knew that and am prepared to deal with the consequences of my (in)action. I really was knackered anyway, so tomorrow is another day to get after it. What wingz and beer are conducive to is a NAP! And I had one too.

And I’m still tired.

I may will have to shed some more stuff yet. Honestly with the downgrade in space I’m thinking about I will not have enough room for everything. So more must go.

I may just give up the camping equipment except for a small box with a lantern or two. We no longer have a tent so I don’t need to worry about this stuff too much. I do want to do some camping after this, but it will have to wait until I can throw some money at some new equipment. Besides which the only times to camp down here are in the early spring or late fall and into winter. This is about a two to three (four at most) week period on either side of summer! *grins* For a spoiled guy like me at any rate.

I dunno yet but some hard decisions are gonna have to be made. More stuff will need to need to be shed. I really don’t want to part with my tools or model railroading stuff, but that DOOR sized layout I seem to be carting around (not working on it, mind) may need to go as well. I never seem to have enough time to devote to that project.

Also got rid of a desk from my teen years. It is down by the curb. The dresser is going as well, as soon as I can manage to get it out of the corner it is in. Too much crap around it at the moment. Including a shelf unit on it, with some household chemicals in it. And that damned thing is nearly FULL.

Also I’ve got this dining room table that has (about) three and a half foot drop leafs. It is on casters, but the casters have NEVER stayed in. So every time you move it you loose a wheel or two, or three. Thus making it a real PITA to move. I tried some epoxy today on two of the wheels. I’m thinking at this point that it may need to go as well. I used it mostly as a hobby space before Herself and I moved in together. It may be time to give it up as well.

I have my Mom’s old kitchen table and chairs and that should be enough.

I really was just too tired to really be effective today. Tomorrow will be better.

I really hate moving in August / September around here. Of course the argument could be made that there really is no good time.

Still waiting to hear from the inspection. I imagine there will be some work to be done around that as well.

Going to be an early night for me, I think.
