First, I'd like to thank all of you for your kind wishes and comments. Reading them whilst going through this has been a comfort.
From what I am told the surgery went well. Not as well as I would have liked, but still well enough to be said successful.
They finally came and took us cadona and myself before 130 PM down to anesthesiology to prep me and show her where the waiting room was. After some time and even more paperwork the rolled me to get prepped for the epidural. Moved me from the bed to the skinny little operating table, had me sitting at the side with my lags dangling. They gave me something in the IV to make the body more cooperative with the epidural. The surgeon came in and we talked for a moment or two. Other folks talked to me as well. Then the anesthesiologist said something or another and the next thing I know is I am coming to in the recovery room...
