Just Random Stuff

Happy 4th of July to all those that celebrate it!
Feel free to sing or hum an appropriate Souza march!

Horoscope: Aquarius

Your most cherished dream will die this week, which would be tragic if it weren't to float around in a Texas-shaped pool filled with beer.

-Might just be true if it doesn't stop raining around here! Except for the beer part.

Quote from last week's Time Magazine

TexasT's has found a new App via one of my feeds. And it is Good! From Lifehacker. Texter. What is Texter? It is a handy Text substitution app. Texter saves you countless keystrokes by replacing abbreviations with commonly used phrases you define. So if you do a lot of repetitious text type stuff (I seem to) to will like this. Coders and writers - definitely a must have program. Got a word you misspell often? You can texter it.

Just a quick down and dirty demonstration I just did. For just random type stuff that I like to put in one post - for the dividing lines between the thoughts in this post I made:
div1 a hot string of html code 80 underscore characters wide, light green and centered.

I could have just as easily made div2 a hot string of html code 40 underscore characters wide, light green and centered.

The way it works is you create the hotstring then name it. Execute with the text (like div2) followed by the trigger a [Tab], [Enter] or [Space] character.

There are a lot more features here, but too numerous to mention and besides, I need to experiment with it. I use something similar at work called TypeItIn to do repetitive things. A lot of the same features, but Texter is free! And I can see the possibilities are endless!

Asked The Queen if she was interested in going downtown to see the fireworks - We can sit in the "Special Big Clam® Area" since the Big Clam® is sponsoring the fireworks - free underground parking too! but no she doesn't want to fight the traffic or crowds. Don't blame her.

I'd go but...

x-posted to saturnlovers

I went to get my hair trimmed last night. When I got out of the car, I noticed the fan on my car (98 Saturn SL1) was running on. Got my trim and then on the way home I noticed the temp light came on. Worse yet, the tempurature guage itself was fluctuating quite wildly. I suspect a faulty thermostat. What do y'all think!

More later gotta see a woman about a pork roast!
