It's a Tuesday

So off to the doctors today. Talked about all my issues and then some.
Anxiety attacks
CPAP supplies
Breathing issues
>sub Handicap Hanger for Lil’Red.
Cholesterol - Jury is out on that one till the blood work comes back but it should be fine.
Swollen feet and ankles.

She wrote me some maintenance scrips.

Did blood work and a chest X-Ray.
The tech had a hard time finding a decent vein in my arms, but did find one. Finally.

Maybe I was still somewhat dehydrated after my weekend shenanigans? Oh yes. There were some.

X-Ray was mostly quick and painless.

I suspect we will have more to talk about once the test results are in.

Once that was done, I drove over to the DMV to get my hanger. The line was ridiculously long. As in bring fucking drinks and snacks long. Jeebus. Got to be a way to improve that experience. At any rate, the line moved at a snail's pace. At some point a county employee wandered through the line breaking the *single line* into **two lines**. Got to me and asked what I was here to do. When I told her I was there for a HC Hanger, she led me into another *much shorter* line. Sign in and take a seat I was told.

All said and done that took a lot less time (once I was moved) than it could have. It was about 7 minutes from when I sat down until I got to talk to someone and pay my fee.

The drug store was another wait. Then back home. Contemplated making a pot of coffee since I hadn’t had any. Or enough. Stopped at a Jack In The Box after the doctor’s visit and got an iced coffee. Surprisingly good.

So now it is laundry and such, and I need to go to the apartment office and pick up a package. Ordered some shirts from Duluth Trading Company and they are here. Probably have some lunch after I get back from that.

Good for you and the doctor! I look forward to that day.

There's a new DMV in Pflugerville, it is DIVINE. They actually text you on your cell when it's your turn. It's curiously civilized.

It must be a pilot program. It will be crushed and discarded after studies show that people no longer hate to go there.

Anxiety fucking sucks. I get minor attacks but Andrea gets it bad. People who don't take it seriously end up making it so much worse, too.

Yeah they do. I usually try to avoid saying what is wrong. And then I concentrate on getting a grip over it. Or enough of one that I can mostly function. Still fucked up though.

You know i feel you on the anxiety. It suuuucks. I finally had to resort to benzos before the first hearing. I think I have enough left to carry me over on the 12th (yay).

I just got new glasses online- noline bifocals with a few extras tossed in and only $90. And I found another place that I could have gotten the transitions lenses, no line bifocals and some other extras for less than $200. Here's hoping your travails are minor.</p>

Sounds like the doc visit was positive and they're looking into things for you *hug*

Glad you finally got to the doctor and that some issues are being sorted out. I think the hanger will be very useful.
