Happy 4th of July.

I hope you all were able to spend it in the way and with whoever, you wanted and everything was all wonderful and shit.
For my American friends of course.

Didn't do much of anything myself.

I came across one of the first generation iPhones and one of the 1st gen iPod touchs. I'm attempting to kind of find my stuff again.

Both are 8GB. Both are mine of course. Got the iPod charged up. It still has music on it. Almost 1500 songs. It still plays. No external controls at all other than the Power switch and the Home Button. The OS on it is pre - iOS. It might be interesting to see if it will communicate with the current version of OSX and iTunes.

Got the iPhone on the charger now. It was really dead. At first glance it looks to have some sort of screen blemishes. Some pixels could have gotten fried I suppose. Could have had something heavy pressing on it for a year or two. *grins*

Been a lot busier than I like to admit the last few months. I'll talk about that. Later. Just not now.

Got some things done around home and have run some errands since last Wednesday. Got a few things I need to take care over the next few days. Lil'Red needs inspected and registration renewed. All this spare time. Yeah. About that. The Great Cable Conglomerate and I decided it was time for us to part ways. Okay. It was mostly their idea. On the 24th. Right after the end of the fiscal month. *grins*
I was hoping it wouldn't come to that but wasn't completely surprised either.

Just noticed spell check isn't working. Actually yesterday when I was updating my resume, I noticed it as well. Must need a reboot or something. You'd think 8GB would be enough to do anything. *laughs* Too many Tabs and Programs open, I reckon. I'll set it to restart when I go to bed.

I'm still here and still breathing. Just need to get in the habit again. At this point I wish I had made more time to write while I was working. But I got lazy. And somewhat complacent and that is what knocked me off my horse, so to speak. It has been an unfortunate series of events lately...
