Or should I say trying to read it. I find her writing style to be flat.

But I bought the damned thing so I need to read it. Read most of her other stuff, likely because of her famous brother, Steve Jobs. Likely this will be the last of her books I read.

It is supposed to be about Steve, although twisted somewhat like writers do. The main character is industrialist, Tom Owens. He is definitely Jobs-ian in manner, and comportment.

I'm less than halfway through the thing and it's a fight to let it keep my attention. Since it is on my kindle I'll keep trying for a while. But it is definitely a dry read. So far.

Just because she's the sister of a famous person doesn't mean she's good.

I guess keep ploughing through it, in the hopes that it will be worth it in the end?

That tome has been thoroughly plowed at this point and no it didn't get any better. But it's done and I'm on to something else at this point. One is a book by Jobs' first girlfriend, the actual mother of his first. And a Zane Gray book of short stories.

And even as a teen, Steve was a self possessed dick. Jeebus.

Glad I never had to work for him.

I guess you learnt something, hopefully? Apart from his being a 'self possessed dick', lol :D One by his former girlfreind and mother of his first child will no doubt be enlightening about Jobs himself and possibly about his work or how he worked.

Hope the Zane Gray book provides some light relief :)

I hate not finishing a book I started, especially when I paid for it but when it's just not pressing your buttons it can feel like a painful process!

Finally did finish. Got a few more books from Amazon onto the kindle. Now reading two of them. Not at the same time of course.
