Movie: Youth

The movie takes place at a Swiss Alps Resort. It has an ensemble cast headed by Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel.

Harvey Keitel's character takes his screenplay writing entourage up to an observation point and had the (young) woman look through a telescope at a mountain.

"Do you see that mountain over there?"

"Yeah, it seems really close..."

"Exactly. This is what you see when you are young. Everything seems really close. That's the future."

"And now," he says reversing the telescope and pointing it at his group and gesturing for the young woman to look, "And that's what you see when you are old. Everything seems really far away. That's the past. "

It about knocked me out.

I guess that is true, although it does not feel like that sometimes. LOL

I thought so. Doesn't hurt that the movie is pretty well done too.
